Q. How long does it take to build my site?
A. I can usually have your blog or website up and running in a week.
Q. I’m technically incompetent. Will this work for me?
A. The great thing about building your site with WordPress is that it will be easy to use. If you can us Microsoft Word, odds are you’ll have no trouble publishing in WordPress. When you purchase a blog or web site installation, I’ll include easy to follow instructional videos that will show you everything you need to publish like a pro.
Q. Do you offer support
A. All blog and website installations are guaranteed to be in full working order as stated in the description upon delivery. I’m afraid I don’t offer technical support beyond the stated services offered. If you find that after watching the instructional videos you still need help, I am available at an hourly rate. If demand warrants, I may create a monthly maintenance subscription.
Q. Why WordPress when I can get a free blog on Blogger or WordPress.com.
A. Short answer, because WordPress on a self hosted domain is just soooo much better. For the longer version, click here.
Q. Do you guarantee your blogs/websites?
A. 100%. Your site is guaranteed to be in full working order upon arrival. If for some reason you are not happy, please let me know and I’ll either fix the problem or issue a full refund for my services. Unfortunately, since hosting is provided by a third party, I cannot offer refunds for hosting. You will need to check with the host provider regarding their policies. I also cannot be held responsible for any modifications you may make to the blog/site after delivery.
Q. What if I already have hosting or don’t want to use the hosting you offer?
A. In order to receive the discounted prices shown on the Details page, you must purchase hosting through one of my affiliate links. I carefully select the hosts I work with because they have proven themselves reliable and are optimized for WordPress. If you’d like to work with your own host or already have hosting, I will be glad to help but it will cost more. See the Details page for more information.
Q. Can you install premium themes such as Thesis,StudioPress. or Headway?
A. Yes but many premium themes require special configurations and tweaks to get them working. I’m a big fan of Thesis and use it on all of my sites including this one. If you want a basic Thesis site without customization, there is no extra charge if you purchase through my affiliate link (click here). For other themes or customizations contact me.
