The Small Print or How Can You Do This So Cheap?
If you’ve priced website design or blog installations, you know how hard it is to find affordable web design. You’re also probably wondering how I can do this so cheap.
Two Things:
- I’ve set up enough WordPress blogs and websites that I’m pretty efficient
- I make money when you purchase web hosting
NUMBER 2 IS IMPORTANT
Here’s how this works. In order to set up a web site or blog, you’ll need to purchase hosting (currently $66 per year). All websites require a web host or a server. This is where the site lives. Simply put, visitors to the website browse information on the web hosts computers. This is an expense required by any professional website, even if you build it yourself.
I have affiliate arrangements with the hosting companies I use. This means, I get a commission from your purchase. The hosting cost you the same if you go through me or not however, I can only offer the discounted rates if you purchase hosting through my affiliate link.
At the present time, I am working with FatCow. I only use hosting companies I have tested and found to be reliable. FatCow has the best hosting prices I’ve seen (at least for now) and their support has been excellent. They are also optimized for WordPress.
In order to get the discounted rate, you will need to purchase hosting either through one of the links to the right or a link I will provide when you order a blog or web site installation.
If you already have hosting
Not to worry. I can still help you but not at the discounted rate. If your web host offers cPanel with Fantastico, Simple Scripts or something similar, there will be an additional $110 dollar charge. If they don’t, I still may be able to help. Contact me for possible options.
